It's the struggle of humans against the elements that make Tweto enthusiasts celebrate their victories as well as mourn the loss of their heroes. Jim, the bush pilot and Ferno in the field have a lot to do. What is missing is Ariel's upbeat character. Ariel's pilot parents Jim and Ferno inspired her to develop an interest in aviation from the beginning. Flying Alaska is a series which is a follow-up of Ariel through her training to become a pilot. Ariel eventually earned her pilot license in April of 2012. She later takes over the running of the family's flying business on the passing of her dad. One of the main problems facing many Alaskans is the high suicide rate among teens which is as high as seven times the national average. Ariel co-founded a charity called Popping Bubbles, where she speaks to youths about the importance of finding an objective in life and pursuing your dreams instead of succumbing to depression.
